Despite some positive results, the progress of state budget collection in the province is still slow. The main reason is that some large revenue items have not met the schedule, especially revenue from land use fees - accounting for a high proportion of total domestic revenue - only reaching 31.1% of the province's estimate. Land auction activities have not yet improved, many projects have been auctioned many times but no investors have participated, affecting revenue sources. In addition, the province's economic strength is still weak, production and business activities face many difficulties, making the ability of enterprises and business households to contribute to the budget unstable.
The whole province currently has 7/17 revenue items reaching and exceeding the schedule (over 42%), while the remaining 10 revenue items such as non- agricultural land use tax, mineral exploitation rights fee, dividends and after-tax profits... are still low, with some even reaching 0%.
At the district level, only 3/9 localities including Dong Hoa town, Tay Hoa district and Tuy An district collected at or above the schedule. The remaining localities, including Tuy Hoa city, Song Cau town and Phu Hoa, Dong Xuan, Son Hoa and Song Hinh districts, all collected below 42%.
