Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspects the implementation of the program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Huu Lung district - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the afternoon of May 20, a working delegation of the province led by comrade Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the implementation of the Program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Huu Lung district.

The delegation included comrade Nguyen Hoang Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of the following departments: Ethnic and Religious Affairs; Finance; Construction; Agriculture and Environment; Provincial Police; Provincial Military Command; Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

According to the report at the inspection, in the past time, the program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for households with revolutionary contributions, policy families, poor and near-poor households, people affected by natural disasters, climate change and other subjects in need of support to improve housing in Huu Lung district has received the attention, direction and positivity of the Party Committee, government, and the support of agencies, units, organizations, businesses and people. Thereby, the program has achieved positive results.

Leaders of the People's Committee of Huu Lung district reported on the implementation of the Program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the district to the inspection team.

Regarding the implementation of the Program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses according to Resolution No. 188 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the district has a total of 204 households supported to build and repair houses. The district proposed 2 implementation phases (phase 1 from November 15, 2024 to January 23, 2025; phase 2 from February 4 to April 10, 2025) and has completed 100% of the set target.

Regarding the implementation of Decision No. 1025/QD-UBND dated May 8, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee, the district has a total of 358 households on the approved list for support in building and repairing houses, of which 217 households are supported for new construction and 141 households are supported for house repair. Up to now, the district has built and repaired 305 houses, of which 153 houses have been completed, and 47 houses have started construction (6 households have not implemented). The district sets a goal of completing the program before August 15, 2025.

At the inspection, the delegation members and district leaders, professional departments of Huu Lung district exchanged and discussed to clarify solutions, implementation results, difficulties, obstacles, causes and proposed solutions to remove them in the implementation of the Program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Huu Lung district.

Concluding the inspection, the comrade highly appreciated the drastic, close and effective direction of the Party Committee and the government of Huu Lung district in implementing the Program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area. The comrade requested the district to urgently direct the commencement of the remaining projects, strive to complete the program's objectives, in the spirit of completing as soon as possible, for the sake of people's lives; based on current regulations, flexibly apply solutions to support and create conditions for resolving land procedures for poor, near-poor households and policy families.

Regarding funding, he suggested that the district continue to mobilize social resources for implementation, pay attention to resolving procedures and settlement records for program implementation, ensuring strict compliance with regulations.

He also requested that the provincial departments and branches pay attention to supporting and guiding the district to remove difficulties and obstacles in implementing the program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses, especially obstacles related to land procedures, so as not to affect the implementation progress.

The inspection team inspected the households that received support to build houses under the program in Bai Danh village, Yen Son commune, Huu Lung district.

Comrade Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to encourage households receiving support to build houses under the program in Loi village, Yen Son commune, Huu Lung district.

During the program, the delegation inspected 3 households that have, are, and are preparing to build houses under the support program.
