Comrade Tran Tri Quang holds the position of Deputy Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee

On November 17, the Standing Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of the Provincial Party Committee to announce the decisions of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were comrade Tran Van Lau - Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee; comrade Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Also attending were comrades representing local departments; Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, members of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, socio- political organizations of the province and Party Secretaries of communes and wards in the whole province.

Accordingly, the Central Party Secretariat decided to transfer and appoint comrade Tran Tri Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province to cease participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and cease holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term; transfer and appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term. At the same time, introduce Mr. Tran Tri Quang to be elected by the Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Vinh Long Provincial Party Secretary Tran Van Lau congratulated comrade Tran Tri Quang on his new assignment. At the same time, he said that the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee highly agreed on the policy of the Politburo and the Secretariat in personnel work, and that the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is not a local person of Vinh Long province.

Provincial Party Secretary - Tran Van Lau hopes that comrade Tran Tri Quang will continue to promote the results achieved in the past time to continue to excellently fulfill the assigned responsibilities and tasks, meeting the trust of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the expectations of cadres, party members and people of Vinh Long province.
