(CPV) - On the morning of March 10, at the 11th session, the Hanoi People's Council elected the position of Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee and member of the City People's Committee. Accordingly, comrade Vu Thu Ha, Director of the Department of Home Affairs, was elected Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

At the meeting, the Hanoi People's Council dismissed from the position of member of the Hanoi People's Committee comrade Chu Phu My, former Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and comrade Nguyen Tat Vinh, former Head of the city's Ethnic Minorities Committee due to retirement.

Next, the Hanoi People's Council elected comrade Vu Thu Ha, member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term; elected members of the City People's Committee for comrade Nguyen Nguyen Quan, Head of the City Ethnic Minorities Committee and comrade Nguyen Xuan Dai, Director of the City Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Comrade Vu Thu Ha, born on December 2, 1972, hometown Hanoi, has a Master's degree in Business Administration; Bachelor of Law; Senior in Political Theory.

Before being elected as Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Ms. Vu Thu Ha had worked for a long time in Long Bien district as Deputy Chief of Office of the People's Council - People's Committee, Head of the Department of Internal Affairs, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of the Long Bien District People's Committee. After that, Ms. Vu Thu Ha was appointed as Director of the Department of Internal Affairs from 2019 to present.

Thus, with the election of comrade Vu Thu Ha, the Hanoi People's Committee now has Chairman Tran Sy Thanh and 6 Vice Chairmen: Duong Duc Tuan, Ha Minh Hai, Nguyen Trong Dong, Nguyen Manh Quyen, Le Hong Son and Vu Thu Ha./.
