Dong Nai expects to collect more than 25,000 billion VND from land auctions

According to the Land Fund Development Center of Dong Nai province, by 2025, the province strives to collect 21,000 billion VND from land auctions.

The land in Tran Bien ward, located next to the main road, adjacent to Dong Nai river, will be put up for auction.

Since the end of September, the province has successfully auctioned 3 land plots with the winning bid of over VND6,700 billion. From now until the end of December 2025, the locality will continue to auction 6 large land plots with a starting price of over VND18,800 billion. It is expected that in 2025, the province will collect over VND25,000 billion from land auctions, exceeding the annual plan.

All 6 plots of land put up for auction are in prime locations, with a high probability of successful auction. Typical examples include the land plot of more than 100 hectares in Chua Chan Mountain (Xuan Loc Commune), the land plot of over 100 hectares in Phuoc An Commune, the land plot of nearly 52 hectares and the land plot of 14 hectares in Tran Bien Ward. According to the plan, the land plots will be used for mixed urban, service and commercial projects; eco- tourism , resorts and entertainment; ecological complex urban areas and thematic parks.

In particular, the land plot of nearly 52 hectares in Tran Bien ward is the first land plot within Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park to be put up for auction (Dong Nai is converting the function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an urban, commercial and service area). The province has issued a decision approving the auction plan for this land plot. This land plot is located in a very favorable location, adjacent to Dong Nai River, National Highway 1A, National Highway 51, in the future, this area will have an urban railway connecting to Long Thanh airport.

According to the Dong Nai Province Land Fund Development Center, over the past 5 years, land auctions in Dong Nai have encountered many difficulties and obstacles. With the drastic intervention of the functional sector, the province has recently completed legal procedures and put many land plots up for auction. Currently, the province is continuing to process documents and procedures to auction dozens of land plots in 2026.

Land auction is one of the key tasks of Dong Nai to ensure budget revenue, promote socio- economic development; contribute to realizing the target of double-digit economic growth in 2025 and the following years. In particular, in the coming time, Dong Nai will implement a series of large transport projects connecting regions, inter-regions, connecting the area with Long Thanh airport. Due to limited budget, the province will mobilize many resources to develop transport infrastructure; including using revenue from land auctions.
