Dong Nai prioritizes investment in two growth poles

After the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975), Nhon Trach and Long Thanh districts, as well as other localities in the province, suffered many losses due to the war. However, these areas have overcome difficulties, gradually developed, and affirmed their position. Up to now, Nhon Trach and Long Thanh districts have become two new growth poles of the province in socio-economic development. Nhon Trach and Long Thanh are two localities with many industrial parks and urban areas in the province and the Southeast region.

For nearly half a century, Dong Nai has prioritized resources to build technical infrastructure, especially transport projects to connect within the province and the key economic region in the South. From there, it has created momentum for economic development in Nhon Trach, Long Thanh districts, the province and the region. Specifically, the province prioritizes human resources and capital to implement major national, provincial, regional and district projects such as: Long Thanh International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, Phuoc An Port, Road 25B, Road to Phuoc An Port... The province has deployed a series of industrial parks and industrial clusters for domestic and foreign enterprises to implement projects, creating jobs for many workers inside and outside the province with stable incomes. At the same time, Long Thanh and Nhon Trach have become two localities with many contributions to industrial development, attracting domestic and foreign investment, exports, and state budget revenue...

According to the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister in July 2024, Nhon Trach and Long Thanh will be the two new growth poles of Dong Nai. These two areas will have nearly 20 industrial parks and 5 industrial clusters. At the same time, the province will deploy urban - service - riverside eco-tourism chains, entertainment complexes, outlets, 5-star hotels, etc. in Long Thanh and Nhon Trach districts.

It is expected that in September 2026, when Long Thanh International Airport is put into operation, traffic connections will be convenient, and projects in various fields will also be accelerated. At that time, Nhon Trach and Long Thanh will become highly developed areas, creating a breakthrough for Dong Nai 's economic growth in the coming years. These are also two areas that are expected to contribute greatly to the state budget revenue. The increase in domestic budget revenue also means that Dong Nai will have more capital to invest in other important projects in the province to serve socio-economic development and improve people's lives.
