Dong Trieu: Honoring excellent students of the 2024-2025 school year

In the 2024-2025 school year, the city will have a total of 81 schools; including 29 kindergartens, 22 primary schools, 20 secondary schools, 3 primary and secondary schools, 6 high schools, 1 primary-secondary-high school, 30 private preschooleducation facilities and 1 Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center.

In the past school year, the city's Education and Training sector has inherited and continued to promote emulation movements for innovation, creativity, good teaching, good learning and achieved many achievements. Along with comprehensive education, the city's Education and Training sector has continued to improve the quality of training excellent students, key students and gifted students.

Dong Trieu City People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to students with outstanding achievements in the 2024-2025 school year.

At the National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition, Dong Trieu City students won 1 third prize. At the Provincial Cultural Subjects Selection Competition, the junior high school level won 68 prizes; the high school level won 227 prizes. At the Provincial Science and Technology Competition, the junior high school level won 05 prizes. At the Provincial Youth and Children's Creativity Competition, the junior high school level won 09 prizes; the high school level won 1 consolation prize. At the Provincial Youth Informatics Competition, the primary school level won 24 prizes; the junior high school level won 23 prizes; the high school level won 10 prizes. Participating in the Olympic Competition of Specialized Subjects for junior high school students organized by Ha Long High School for the Gifted, the junior high school level won 09 prizes. At the Provincial Athletics Competition, they won 18 medals. At the Provincial Football Tournament, 02 youth and children's football teams both won Bronze Medals.

At the city level, there were 68 prizes in the Excellent Student Competition at the secondary school level. There were 256 prizes in the Beautiful Writing Competition at the primary school level. There were 110 prizes in the Young Informatics Competition. There were 50 prizes in the Youth and Children's Creativity Competition. There were 17 projects selected and sent to the provincial competition at the science and technology competition. There were 319 prizes in the Excellent Student Exchange for Grade 8 students.

Sports fields also continue to receive attention with the results of organizing 4 city-level tournaments (Badminton, Shuttlecock, Athletics and Youth and Children's Football) ensuring safety and efficiency. Participated in 02 provincial-level sports tournaments including: Athletics tournament won 18 medals, ranked 3rd overall. Football tournament won 02 Bronze medals for Youth Team and Children's Team. On this occasion, the People's Committee of Dong Trieu city awarded Certificates of Merit to 328 students with outstanding achievements in the 2024-2025 school year.
