Coffee price forecast tomorrow 1/5/2025 - stable market.
According to analysts, the domestic and international coffee markets have recently been experiencing a period of strong fluctuations. There are many factors affecting the market, including: reduced global supply, strong export growth, and price fluctuations due to tariff policies.
In the short term, domestic coffee prices are forecast to continue to increase slightly, especially as the main harvest season is about to end. In the world, price fluctuations may occur due to weather factors and tariff policies.
Globally, the market fell on concerns that coffee demand could be negatively impacted after the US consumer confidence index fell to its lowest level in nearly five years in April. This reflects consumer anxiety about the economic outlook, leading to the possibility of cutting back on unnecessary spending.
In Vietnam, dry weather has also affected the quality and yield of the harvest. The global coffee market is at risk of a shortage, especially for Robusta coffee, Vietnam's main crop.
In the first quarter of 2025, domestic coffee prices fluctuated above 130,000 VND/kg, creating opportunities for the industry to grow in revenue and profit, but also posing challenges in risk management.
The coffee market remains in a supply-high price trend, with little room for a major correction unless there is a major change from Brazil or Indonesia. Exporters should consider closing deals early while prices remain favorable, while farmers should closely monitor weather conditions to optimize sales timing.
