Minister Nguyen Hong Dien: Sports festival is an opportunity for each individual and collective to become closer and more united.

After two days of exciting competition from May 31 to June 1, 2025, the 13th Ministry of Industry and Trade Sports Festival 2025 was a great success, contributing to strengthening solidarity.

The 2025 Ministry of Industry and Trade Open Sports Festival took place in the following events: pickleball, chess and tug of war with the participation of over 200 athletes who are officials, civil servants and public employees of units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The Organizing Committee of the Sports Festival awarded prizes to the athletes and winning units at the Sports Festival and many prizes to encourage the spirit of participation in the Sports Festival of units and individuals under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The sports festival is an activity to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the Industry and Trade sector's Traditional Day (May 14, 2025), the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 2025) and respond to Workers' Month 2025.

Speaking at the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of the Sports Festival, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien highly appreciated the significance of the Sports Festival, which not only contributed to improving the health of athletes who are civil servants and public employees of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, but also provided an opportunity for each individual and collective to have more conditions to bond, be more united, and be more disciplined. From there, they could overcome all difficulties and challenges and excellently complete all assigned tasks.

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien hopes that collective cultural and sports exchange activities will be regularly organized by units of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, contributing positively to the common cause of the Industry and Trade sector.

In recent times, with the deep attention of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry, the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade, the cultural and sports movements of the Ministry have developed strongly, creating profound changes for all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. The material and spiritual life of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers has been cared for and increasingly united in the spirit of solidarity, compassion and mutual love in each agency and unit.

In the Sports Festival, all athletes were winners, winners in determination, winners in the spirit of solidarity, friendship, encouraging the team of workers to strive to excellently complete their professional tasks.
