AccuWeather (USA) predicts that the highest temperature in Ho Chi Minh City will be 34 degrees Celsius, the lowest 26 degrees Celsius, and light showers.

GFS model predicts thunderstorms in Ho Chi Minh City and many other areas from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 5.

Early on June 5, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting also said that the Southern region in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular are being affected by the southwest monsoon, which is gradually strengthening, increasing the possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Other areas such as the Central Highlands, the Northwest and from Thanh Hoa to Hue also had widespread heavy rain last night, with many places having rainfall exceeding 150mm in just a few hours.

Some rain gauge stations have recorded very heavy rainfall in the past 24 hours such as Nham (Hue) 175.6mm; Ba Long ( Quang Tri ) 160.2mm; Dai Son (Yen Bai) 158.8mm. It is forecasted that today, June 5, the Viet Bac and Tay Nguyen provinces will continue to have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with common rainfall of 10-30mm, some places over 70mm.

In general, many meteorological agencies predict that today Ho Chi Minh City will have rain, with stable temperatures ranging from 26 to 35 degrees Celsius. Rain is likely to occur in the evening, and it is necessary to be on guard against thunderstorms, lightning, and gusts of wind.
