During the day there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places; in the late afternoon and evening there will be rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain in some places.

- Southwest wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the North East Sea (including Hoang Sa archipelago), the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai and the Gulf of Thailand are experiencing showers and thunderstorms.

Forecast for the day and night of May 12, the following areas will have showers and thunderstorms:

North East Sea (including Hoang Sa archipelago); sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai; sea area from Ca Mau to Kien Giang, Gulf of Thailand. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind level 6-7.
