Also in the first month of 2024, cold air tends to be weaker than the average of many years in the same period, the number of days of severe cold in the North is less. Severe cold is still likely to appear in the North and North Central regions but will not last for many days.

During the forecast period, cold air is likely to cause strong winds and big waves, affecting maritime activities and fishing at sea of fishermen.

In addition, frost and ice may appear in some places in the northern mountainous region, greatly affecting agricultural production and livestock raising activities.

The Central region may experience thunderstorms, locally heavy rain, along with the possibility of dangerous weather phenomena such as tornadoes and lightning, affecting production and people's activities.

From January 2024, the Central Highlands and the South will begin the dry season, with few signs of unseasonal rains. People need to use water resources economically and effectively.
