The Buddha's relics were welcomed and enshrined at four major pagodas across the country within the framework of the United Nations Vesak 2025. After the Vesak 2025 festival ended today, May 8, the procession of the Buddha's relics continued, before the relics were escorted back to India on May 21.

According to the schedule, people can arrange a pilgrimage from Ho Chi Minh City to Tay Ninh, Hanoi and Ha Nam to worship the relics.

According to information from the Organizing Committee, the Buddha Sakyamuni relic worship ceremony at Thanh Tam Pagoda (Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) ended on the morning of May 8.

During the relic display, Thanh Tam Pagoda serves 100,000 vegetarian meals to people and 3,000 delegates every day.

After the worship period at Thanh Tam Pagoda ends, the Buddha's relics will be invited to Ba Den Mountain, Tay Ninh from May 8 to 13. The ceremony to enshrine the relics at Ba Den Mountain took place this afternoon.

Visitors can take the cable car from the foot of the mountain to make pilgrimages and worship. During this time, the tourist area will also organize many large-scale spiritual activities.

Ba Den Mountain tourist area has dining service at Van Son restaurant on the top. At the temple on the mountain, visitors can enjoy free vegetarian meals. In addition, visitors can also enjoy local cuisine at restaurants in the center of Tay Ninh city.

After leaving Tay Ninh, the relics will be carried to Quan Su Pagoda, Hanoi (headquarters of the Central Buddhist Sangha of Vietnam), from May 14 to 16. Here, the procession, enthronement and chanting will take place in a solemn atmosphere, attracting a large number of monks, nuns and Buddhists in the capital.

Around Quan Su Pagoda area, there are many vegetarian restaurants for visitors to enjoy vegetarian cuisine such as Om Yoga, Sadhu, Chay Tam An Lac, Vi Lai.

The final stop on the journey to receive the relics is at the largest pagoda complex in Vietnam - Tam Chuc Pagoda, Ha Nam. The relics will be enshrined in Tam The Temple, a sacred space overlooking a large lake and surrounding mountains. Prayers, chanting and worship will be held continuously for 5 days, from May 17 to 21.

From Hanoi, visitors can go to Tam Chuc Pagoda by private car, coach, bus or limousine, the travel time is about more than 1 hour. Inside the tourist area, there is Tam Chuc hotel with 156 rooms, 5 different classes, there is a vegetarian restaurant or visitors can stay at hotels, homestays in Phu Ly city and explore local culture and cuisine.

When visiting Buddha relics, visitors should check information about the procession, opening hours of pagodas and tourist areas in advance. At places like Ba Den Mountain or Tam Chuc, it is advisable to go early to avoid long queues at the cable car or tram stations.
