Hanoi’s key tourist markets such as Japan, South Korea, China, France and the US are recovering and stabilizing. According to information from the Hanoi Department of Tourism, international visitors highly appreciate tourism products associated with the capital’s cultural heritage, cuisine , traditional craft villages and nightlife experiences.

Therefore, the goal of the entire Hanoi tourism industry is to increase steadily in both the guest segment and the experience guest segment, in order to contribute to affirming Hanoi's position on the world tourism map while increasing the space for developing unique, high-quality and culturally profound products.

According to the Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism , Ms. Dang Huong Giang, in the last six months of 2025, the industry will focus on five key tasks: strengthening the effectiveness of state management; developing products and expanding markets; promoting communication and promotion; accelerating digital transformation; and building a civilized and safe tourism environment.

In particular, Hanoi will prioritize the development of experiential tours associated with relics, craft villages, ethnic minority culture and night tourism in potential areas such as Hoan Kiem and Tay Ho districts. At the same time, it will complete models of agricultural, community, health care and MICE tourism.

Notably, cooperation in developing products in chains between Hanoi and localities, with key routes such as Hanoi-Ha Nam-Ninh Binh (spiritual culture), Hanoi-Lao Cai-Lai Chau (discovery, experience) will be promoted.

Digital transformation will accelerate with technology applications such as digital tourism maps, AI platforms supporting information lookup, digitalizing destinations and virtual reality tourism products, to enhance tourist experience and optimize management efficiency.

In the international market, the promotion of tourism in the capital in 2025 will be enhanced with programs to introduce Vietnamese tourism in countries such as France, Italy, Switzerland; participation in international tourism fairs and events (ITB ASIA International Tourism Fair 2025 in Singapore; IMEX Frankfurt Fair 2025 in Germany; Tourism Expo Japan International Tourism Fair 2025 in Aichi, Japan; FTM Top Resa International Tourism Fair 2025 in France), participation in the International Fair of Handicrafts and European Gift Products in 2025...
