This new tourism product was just introduced to experts, tourism workers and the press on the evening of June 4 and discussed by experts on the morning of June 5.
Bringing art and cuisine into the cave
Ngoc Rong Cave is located in the Vung Duc cave complex, a tourist destination of Vung Duc historical relic and scenic spot, Cam Dong ward, Cam Pha city.
This is a rare destination with suitable geological conditions to be able to put on elaborate art shows and hundreds of tourists to enjoy.
Because the cave is more than 4,000m2 wide, many points reach a height of 15.8m, helping natural air circulation in the cave. The two main doors open to an airy space with an entrance width of more than 7m.

The cave is a special type of sea cave, formed by the impact of seawater erosion that eroded limestone over a long period of time. Inside the cave there are many giant stalactites and stalagmites with unique shapes.
The temperature remains stable at 23-25 degrees Celsius throughout the year.

Artist Le Thanh Phong created the script and directed the show "Finding the Pearl" with young dancers, circus performers, and musicians from Hanoi performing this show on a live stage in a cave hundreds of meters long.
The audience will see epic, legendary stories about the destination of Ngoc Rong Cave, Lac Long Quan - Au Co, Mother Goddess culture, local stories, such as the story of finding fire of the ancient San Diu people, the story of exploiting "black gold" in Quang Ninh...

Consider nature conservation
People's Artist Huynh Tu - the show's music director - said the crew wanted to honor the pristine beauty of the cave by highlighting the unique stalactites using modern lighting technology, combined with folk music materials.
Mr. Nguyen The Ky - Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, one of the program's advisors - highly appreciated the idea of bringing art and cuisine into the cave, combining the gifts of nature with human creativity.
From the perspective of a tourism professional, a representative of Vietravel said he was very excited to see a new tourism material and product that helps tourists deeply feel the history and culture of the locality.
From an expert perspective, Dr. Lu Thi Thanh Le (Faculty of Cultural Industry and Heritage, School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts - Vietnam National University, Hanoi) welcomes localities exploiting cultural industries in tourism development.
However, she noted that organizers need to consider factors of nature conservation, respect for nature, and protection of original relics. It is necessary to pay attention to the pillars of sustainable development: economy - culture - environment; pay attention to using local labor, so that people can also benefit from the relics.
Mr. Nguyen Lam Nguyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism of Quang Ninh province - said that when building this new tourism product, departments, sectors, Cam Pha city and units carefully reviewed related conditions on the principle of ensuring no impact on the environment, landscape, and no impact on the original value of this area.
