On the afternoon of June 6, in Dong Hoi City, the Agriculture and Environment Magazine coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Binh province and other agencies to organize the Workshop "Application of AI in Journalism, Communication of Environmental Culture and Development of Sea Tourism".

Attending the workshop were Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Le Minh Ngan, Editor-in-Chief of Agriculture and Environment Magazine Dao Xuan Hung, leaders of units under the Ministry, experts and leaders of 28 coastal provinces and cities.
The workshop gathered more than 100 delegates from central agencies, 28 coastal provinces, technology experts, tourism businesses and more than 30 press agencies. With many presentations focusing on in-depth analysis of digital transformation trends in journalism, application of artificial intelligence AI, to promote marine culture, protect the marine environment and promote the development of green tourism models in the coming time.
This is an activity to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day; World Environment Day June 5; World Oceans Day (June 8); Vietnam Sea and Islands Week held from June 1 to 8 with the theme of World Oceans Day 2025 held in Quang Binh.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Mr. Dao Xuan Hung - Editor-in-Chief of Agriculture and Environment Magazine shared: "The workshop is an opportunity for journalists, managers, technology experts and tourism businesses to exchange experiences, propose solutions and expand cooperation in applying AI to develop press content, preserve marine culture, environmental protection culture, communicate about ocean plastic waste and develop sustainable marine tourism".

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Le Minh Ngan - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment affirmed: Artificial Intelligence AI is bringing new opportunities for the marine tourism industry to make breakthroughs in a sustainable, creative and environmentally friendly way. AI can be applied to analyze tourist flows, optimize itineraries, personalize travel experiences and improve service quality.
More importantly, AI helps the marine tourism industry reach the right audience, at the right time, and in the most appropriate way, thereby spreading the image of a green, friendly, integrated Vietnam, attracting investment and enhancing the country's position.
