Recently, implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on accelerating the project implementation progress, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board has inspected, reviewed and rebuilt the project implementation plan.

The Project to Upgrade and Expand Provincial Road 769 is nearly 30km long; the starting point intersects with National Highway 1 at Dau Giay intersection, Dau Giay commune, Dong Nai province; the end point intersects with National Highway 51 at Loc An intersection, Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province. The project is divided into 4 sections, of which sections 1, 3, 4 are invested with a scale of 6 motor vehicle lanes and 2 mixed vehicle lanes. Section 2 in particular is invested with a scale of 6 motor vehicle lanes.

This is a project implemented by Dong Nai province with the aim of increasing connectivity, shortening travel time from localities in the province and provinces in the Central Highlands, the South Central region in general to Long Thanh International Airport. Thereby meeting the transportation needs, reducing traffic volume on National Highway 1, contributing to the socio -economic development of localities with the route passing through in particular, Dong Nai province and the Southern key economic region in general.

The Project to Upgrade and Expand Provincial Road 769 has a total investment of nearly 5.9 trillion VND, of which the cost of compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance is more than 3 trillion VND. The project is implemented in the communes of Dau Giay, Binh An, Long Thanh, Dong Nai province. The total land area to be recovered for the project is more than 134 hectares.

Regarding land acquisition, compensation and site clearance, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board has handed over the site clearance boundaries in the field to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for implementation.
