Total revenue from tourism reached about 905 billion VND, an increase of 6% compared to the 2024 holiday season.

During the 5-day holiday, guests stayed mainly on the evenings from May 1 to 3, the average room occupancy rate of the province was estimated at about 60 - 65% (in Sa Pa alone, the room booking rate was mainly concentrated in the 3 - 5 star hotel segment, with an occupancy rate of about 95%, and at community tourism spots it was about 75%).

This is a positive signal, contributing to building and maintaining the image of a friendly and safe tourist destination in Lao Cai.
