Honoring, preserving heritage and environment
As one of the unique and different activities compared to previous years of Ninh Binh Tourism Week, on the evening of May 31, at Khe Coc Island in Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, the Trang An Music and Creativity Festival, Ninh Binh Forestival 2025 took place. The festival attracted about 20,000 domestic and international tourists to participate, immersing themselves in a creative, modern, youthful, and colorful musical space.
At the program, many famous artists and contemporary art groups brought attractive and novel musical performances such as: Hoang Dung, Tlinh, Vu, Ha Anh Tuan, Den Vau, Phan Manh Quynh, Vu Cat Tuong, ... along with Xam singing performances - one of the precious heritages of Ninh Binh that has been included in the list of National Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and is aiming to build a dossier to submit to UNESCO to be inscribed in the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Protection of Humanity.
In particular, the symbol of the music night is the Delacour’s langur, erected in the center of the stage, bringing many meaningful messages about protecting wildlife, the environment and heritage. This is one of the five rare primate species in the Red Book of Vietnam and the world , currently residing mainly in Ninh Binh.
Thanks to conservation efforts, the Delacour's langur has increased from more than 40 to 250 in Ninh Binh (accounting for 70% of the total number of Delacour's langurs worldwide), an increase of more than 4 times in the past 20 years.
Outside the Forestival concert is a large outdoor exhibition area called “Heritage Road”; to honor traditional craft villages and environmental protection activities of Vietnam...

Hoang Ngoc Linh from Hanoi excitedly said that with simple, sincere but profound music, many singers told stories about life with simple rhymes but containing many layers of profound meaning. This is a special and meaningful program connecting with the community, conveying positive life values through music; thereby raising awareness about protecting heritage and the environment, especially for today's young generation.
“Performing amidst the majestic nature of Trang An Heritage this time is a great opportunity for Den to learn and experience. In the future, Den hopes that the Forestival 2025 project will become a special mark of Trang An-Ninh Binh, so that throughout Vietnam, each heritage has music festivals where people can immerse themselves in nature, experience tourism, art and spread the spirit of protecting forests and preserving Vietnamese culture” - Singer Den Vau shared.
By harmoniously combining high-end art, love of nature, respect for heritage and responsibility to the community, Forestival 2025 in Ninh Binh is sowing the “seeds” of environmental protection awareness, committed to creating a truly green festival for a rich and sustainable cultural heritage; a highlight, contributing to the development of Ninh Binh's cultural industry.
Breakthrough to become a key economic sector
During the Ninh Binh Tourism Week from May 29 to 31, locals and tourists experienced and immersed themselves in attractive and impressive cultural and artistic activities.
From the opening art program to the fashion show with the theme “Heritage for Life”, all show the intersection between tradition and modernity, between cultural depth and contemporary creative language; experience OCOP products, traditional handicrafts, feel the creative working spirit and cultural identity of Ninh Binh people.
In addition, there is the art photo exhibition “Tam Coc-Trang An Golden Season”, bringing an artistic perspective on the magical beauty of nature; along with a series of folk art performances such as water puppetry, Cheo singing, Xam singing, folk songs from three regions, community folk dance festivals, unique cultural and culinary festivals; rice fields shaped like “Carp jumping over the dragon gate”,...
In particular, Ninh Binh also organizes a survey program, introducing new tourism products, creating conditions for businesses, media agencies and tourists to explore more of Ninh Binh's untapped potential, from community tourism, agricultural tourism, to spiritual tourism, resort and health tourism.
All activities have profound educational significance for the community, especially the young generation, about the responsibility of preserving the cultural heritage values of the homeland and country.

Thanks to that, Ninh Binh Tourism Week welcomed about 485,000 visitors, an increase of 70% compared to 2024 (welcoming 285,500 visitors), of which international visitors reached over 120,000 visitors, an increase of 96.7% compared to Tourism Week in 2024.
The occupancy rate of hotel rooms in the whole province reached 70-75%, Tam Coc area reached 85-90%, the opening night of Tourism Week and Forestival show alone reached nearly 100% occupancy. Tourism revenue is estimated at 750 billion VND. Security, order, environmental sanitation, and tourism civilization are guaranteed.
According to Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of Ninh Binh Province Department of Tourism, Ninh Binh tourism is developing in the context of great pressure on the responsibility of preserving heritage values and tourism environmental resources. In the coming time, the province will focus on building unique cultural and historical tourism products, combined with educational and experiential activities to attract tourists interested in local history and culture; create festivals and cultural events to enhance the presence of Ninh Binh on the international tourism map.
At the same time, diversify tourism products, especially develop tourism products associated with preserving heritage and cultural values; build policies and mechanisms to attract high-quality tourism human resources; build research and development centers in the field of tourism services, start-up and innovation spaces... to always bring visitors experiences that are not only memorable but also meaningful, connecting with the authentic cultural and natural values of Ninh Binh.

Held since 2018, Ninh Binh Tourism Week has become an important annual event to preserve, honor, promote natural and cultural values, and promote the image of Ninh Binh land and people.
With flexible and creative organization, always renewing products, the success of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2025 once again affirms the attraction of a destination rich in cultural values, traditional history and aspirations to rise; demonstrating the efforts of the government and people of Ninh Binh in realizing the goal of making tourism a spearhead economic sector. Thereby, continuing to affirm the position and enhance the brand of Ninh Binh on the tourism map of Vietnam and the world.
