Rural tourism "reigns"

Việt NamViệt Nam28/10/2024

Last Saturday, I went to Cam Binh beach (Tan Phuoc commune, La Gi town) at the invitation of Anh Chau and her husband. This is not the first time I have been to La Gi or Cam Binh beach, but it has been more than 5 years since I had the opportunity to return, partly due to the Covid-19 pandemic and partly due to not having any related work. Cam Binh beach is now very different from previous years because of the scene of tourists bustling around eating, drinking, and swimming.

In the past, Cam Binh beach was pristine, so many people compared it to a muse. That beautiful scene still exists, the only difference is that now there are more tourists coming, creating a lively scene. Tan Phuoc is racing to complete the missing criteria to reach the advanced new rural finish line by the end of this year, but looking at the clear roads and the spacious houses of the people, Tan Phuoc looks like a city, not the poor coastal commune of the past. Contributing to the spacious and vibrant appearance of Tan Phuoc is a large part of the sea tourism sector. Tourists coming to Cam Binh - Tan Phuoc are increasing in number because of the beautiful beach, fresh seafood with "softer" prices than many other regions. In Tan Phuoc, there is community tourism, although many problems in the activities are still messy, the outstanding feature is that it has a professional tourism form. Mr. Hoang Dat - a real estate business in Binh Duong said: Every month I travel between Phan Thiet - La Gi two or three times for business transactions. Every time I go, I often stop by Cam Binh to swim and buy seafood as gifts for my children and relatives. Cam Binh beach is very crowded on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, so I choose weekdays to relax better...

Going with Mr. Dat, Mr. Chuong also likes the countryside and mountain scenery. He confided: "Whenever I travel on the highway, I always admire the scenery along the road. Sometimes the dragon fruit flowers are pure white, the pure sight melts the heart. Sometimes the dragon fruit garden is bright red, creating excitement in the soul. Recently, my friend also took me to La Ngau tourist area, which is also the La Nga river flowing down to Dong Nai, but this place is very strange. It is a stretch of clear water with schools of fish swimming around, on the riverbanks are gardens of fresh flowers, mango gardens, and green cashew gardens, so on holidays thousands of visitors come to have fun and relax... If in Cam Binh or Phan Thiet there are fresh seafood that help attract tourists, then in La Ngau there are local specialties such as hill chicken, mountain goat, betel leaves, wild bamboo shoots... creating a unique attraction in the culinary of tourists...

On October 20, Vietnamese Women's Day, in addition to millions of visitors coming to La Gi, Phan Thiet, Ham Thuan Nam to have fun, in Duc Linh, Tanh Linh, Ham Thuan Bac districts, thousands of people also came to Reo waterfall, Ba waterfall, La Ngau tourist destination, and traveled on Ham Thuan - Da Mi lake. Explaining why rural tourism attracts visitors, most visitors like the charming scenery with a rustic feel, fresh air as well as the cuisine with local specialties. Returning to the countryside is like finding the childhood memories of many people who came from the countryside to the city to start a business and then become successful and have a bit of peace when eating and sleeping in the middle of the vast and majestic mountains and forests... I have witnessed many people in the cities bringing their children to Da Mi to teach them to be close to nature, showing them durian trees, jackfruit trees, fresh macadamia nuts, avocado trees, mangosteen trees... Many people say that family travel, in addition to relaxation and entertainment, also educates children about the world around them, such as going to the beach to learn about shrimp, crabs, snails and clams... going to the countryside to learn about goats, cows, waterfalls and lakes...

Rural tourism in Binh Thuan stretches from Tuy Phong to Duc Linh, with most districts and towns having rural tourism spots. New tourist spots are being established and legal procedures are being completed for sustainable operation. Rural tourism is contributing to the diversification of Binh Thuan tourism in various fields and "holding" tourists to stay for a long time...
