New figures show that Vietnam is becoming the top choice for Australian tourists. InsideAsia Tours recorded a 46% increase in direct tour bookings from the land of kangaroos to Vietnam in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. According to ATIA, Vietnam also led the growth rate of Australian tourists traveling abroad in April 2025, reaching 28.5%, surpassing Japan and China.

In the first 10 months of 2025, Australia continued to be in the top 10 largest tourist sending markets of Vietnam with more than 447,000 arrivals, affirming the attraction and strong growth potential of this market.
