On April 17, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (Ministry of Public Security) launched the "Data for Life" Contest season 3 with the version "Breakthrough technology solutions".
Following the success of the previous two seasons, the "Data for Life" competition in 2025 aims to find innovative technology solutions that serve the community's interests and promote social development.
This year's competition has been expanded in scale, improved in quality and flexibly adapted to the digital transformation orientation according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TU of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
According to the Organizing Committee, the Contest aims to promote and encourage creative ideas, including topics related to digital data mining, artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and big data. The goal is to serve digital government, digital economy, and digital society building, and to find ideas and products to build and develop into complete technology products.

Colonel Vu Van Tan, Director of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, said: In the Competition, each contestant can create a valuable product. Like last year, the winning product was not only applied in Vietnam but also in Singapore.
With the issuance of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TU, Colonel Vu Van Tan believes that "Data for Life" season 3 will create a new vitality, bringing highly applicable products and making practical contributions to life.
Enterprises, ministries and sectors should join and share, be proud of Vietnamese intelligence, be proud of Vietnamese youth. "Hopefully season 3 will have many products that can be applied immediately in each ministry, each sector and each locality," Colonel Tan shared.
With the theme "Data Innovation: Paving the Way for Vietnam to Rise", Data for Life season 3 is expected to have the participation of dozens of domestic and foreign teams. The total prize value of the Contest is 690 million VND, of which the first prize is 500 million VND.
The Contest is open to: Vietnamese citizens living in Vietnam and abroad; foreigners interested and passionate about technology. The final round of the Contest will be held on November 26, 2025.
