Toyota Corolla Cross 2026 launched - "transformed" with new design

The new 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross has a more modern and angular appearance than its predecessor. The front of the car has been redesigned with a honeycomb grille and sharper new LED headlights. The rear of the car has also been refined with LED taillights and small spoilers integrated on both sides of the lights.

The car is equipped with a new 18-inch alloy wheel design, contributing to the overall appearance refresh. The interior space of the 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross SUV has also been significantly improved. The center of the dashboard is a 10.5-inch entertainment screen with a 12.3-inch digital clock cluster.

Toyota added wireless charging, a new gear lever design, and tweaked the center console for a more modern feel. The GR Sport version of the 2026 Corolla Cross has been heavily refreshed by Toyota in terms of design and performance.

The exterior features a distinctive grille and front bumper inspired by the GR Corolla hatchback. The car is equipped with 19-inch black alloy wheels, combined with an exclusive Storm Grey exterior color, creating a unique appearance.

Technically, the GR Sport doesn't change the engine but gets a 10mm lowered suspension and tweaks to improve handling.

The electric power steering wheel is adjusted, integrated with paddle shifters, along with two driving modes Sport and Snow Extra to bring a more flexible driving feeling. The interior of this version also comes with a set of sports seats and decorative details typical of the GR line.

Toyota offers the 2026 Corolla Cross with two hybrid powertrain options. The 140 hybrid combines a 1.8L gasoline engine with an electric motor for 138 horsepower.

Meanwhile, the hybrid 200 is a combination of a 2.0L engine with an electric motor for a total capacity of 194 horsepower. Both configurations aim to combine fuel efficiency and smooth driving experience. The price of the Toyota Corolla Cross 2026 has not been announced yet.
