Emulation movements have truly become an important driving force, contributing to the successful implementation of socio -economic development goals, ensuring social security, and improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
One of the outstanding movements with profound humanitarian significance is "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025". Responding to the movement, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province has issued documents to implement the movement, assigning clear tasks to all levels, sectors, armed forces, localities and mobilizing all people to actively participate with a spirit of urgency, focusing all efforts, and implementing rapidly. As a result, by August 15, the whole province had completed and handed over a total of 8,915 newly built and repaired houses, reaching 100% of the plan.

Many localities have linked the emulation movement with new rural construction and sustainable poverty reduction programs, creating strong resonance. For example, in Krong Ana commune, up to now, 159 temporary and dilapidated houses have been eliminated and 44 houses have been repaired, with a total cost of nearly 13 billion VND, of which nearly 3 billion VND was mobilized from the people.
Through emulation movements, many key tasks, difficulties and obstacles in socio-economic development have been promptly resolved; many typical projects and models have been formed and effectively promoted. Emulation movements have become an important driving force to promote the successful implementation of local political goals and tasks, actively contributing to the overall development of the country.
In parallel with other patriotic emulation movements, the movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" for the period 2021 - 2025 continues to be widely deployed by the province, associated with the implementation of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction.
The Provincial Women's Union is one of the typical units, effectively implementing the movement with many practical activities aimed at poor women and children. In 2024, the Union launched a special emulation campaign called "120 projects/tasks/activities to accompany poor women and children in difficult circumstances". In just 7 months of implementation, the Women's Unions at all levels in the province have completed 142 projects and tasks, with a total value of over 13.7 billion VND, supporting more than 4,800 poor women and children to access knowledge, livelihoods, jobs and increase income.

Along with that, the province has issued many mechanisms and policies to support poor, near-poor and multidimensional poor households to access basic social services such as healthcare, education, information, housing, clean water, environmental sanitation, preferential loans and vocational training. The policies are implemented synchronously, promptly and closely to reality, contributing to promoting local resources, encouraging people to rise out of poverty, together building an increasingly rich, civilized and humane Dak Lak.
