On July 23, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission had a working session with Danang University to implement the Party's policies and guidelines in the fields of science , technology, environment and intellectual work.
The meeting was attended by Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thanh Dat; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh and Director of Da Nang University Nguyen Ngoc Vu.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh said that Da Nang City is making efforts to create conditions to attract talented experts to work, including arranging housing and supporting high-quality human resources in key areas such as artificial intelligence and semiconductor microchips.
In the 2021 - 2025 period, the city has supported 66 cases, invested in shared laboratories and research centers, built a strategy for developing high-quality human resources, and strengthened connections to place research orders to serve practice.

Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thanh Dat highly appreciated the efforts of the city and Danang University in realizing the Central resolutions on developing science and technology and intellectuals.
Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat emphasized that the team of lecturers and scientists at universities is one of the strategic pillars, deciding the rapid and sustainable development of the country in the new period.

Reporting at the meeting, a representative of Danang University said that Danang University currently has more than 230 laboratories and 6 multi-purpose buildings, serving training and research in many fields from engineering, technology to social sciences and humanities.
In 2024, the entire university published 1,715 scientific works, including 577 articles published in prestigious international journals. The total budget for implementing 242 scientific topics reached nearly 40 billion VND, including 9 state-level topics.
Notably, the University of Danang aims to become a national university, proactively participating in programs to develop the digital economy, green economy, and circular economy. The University of Danang also aims to increase the commercialization of research results, expand international cooperation, develop joint training programs, and research modern university governance models.

To realize the above goals, the leaders of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission suggested that the city continue to concretize the resolutions into action programs associated with the development of Danang University. At the same time, they supported the proposal to build a science park to attract experts and scientists to work, research and contribute.
With a solid foundation, open mechanism and strategic vision, Danang University is expected to be the center of knowledge and innovation in the Central Highlands region, actively contributing to the development of Danang City and the whole country.
