Duc Linh promotes the development of new party members

The target for Duc Linh district in 2023 is to develop 170 new party members. However, in the first 6 months of the year, this locality has only recruited 65 party members, reaching 38.2%. Many solutions have been proposed to promote the development of new party members with good results.

Accordingly, in the first 6 months of 2023, Party organizations in the district have made great efforts in implementing the work of developing Party members according to assigned targets. Some Party organizations have achieved high results in implementing Party member development targets, such as Duc Linh High School Party Committee admitted 5/5 Party members, reaching 100% of the assigned target; Dong Ha Commune Party Committee admitted 9/8 Party members, reaching 88.8% of the assigned target. However, there are also many Party organizations that have achieved low Party member development targets and some Party organizations have not developed any Party members.

In order for the work of developing party members to achieve the 2023 target in both quantity and quality, the Standing Committee of Duc Linh District Party Committee has issued a directive document, requiring Party committees at grassroots levels to further enhance their sense of responsibility, especially the role of Party committee leaders; promote propaganda and education work to raise awareness of the Party; proactively review sources and assign official Party members to help the masses strive to join the Party. Associations and unions, especially the Trade Union and Youth Union, educate and select outstanding union members and members to introduce to Party cells for consideration and proposal for admission to the Party. The results of the work of developing party members will be used by the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee as the basis and criteria for reviewing, evaluating and classifying the year-end quality of Party organizations and Party members who are Party committee members at grassroots levels.
