Duc Trong: Joining hands to support the family affected by the fire in N'Thon Ha commune

(LĐ online) - On June 20, information from the Red Cross Society of Duc Trong district said that, in response to the difficult situation of Ms. Klong K Zet, Bon Rom village, N'Thon Ha commune after the fire that occurred in the early morning of June 14, the district Red Cross Society quickly took action, demonstrating the noble spirit of "mutual love".

Ms. Pham Thi Thu Huong - Vice President of the Duc Trong District Red Cross Association, presented support money to her family.

Accordingly, immediately after receiving information about the fire and receiving a request for support from the People's Committee of N'Thon Ha commune, the District Red Cross Association urgently launched a donation movement, calling for the cooperation of Red Cross Associations of communes and towns, and especially the enthusiastic response from philanthropists in the area.

With the spirit of "a piece when hungry is worth a package when full", in just a short time, the first campaign raised more than 19 million VND. This is a source of encouragement and timely support to help Mrs. Klong K Zet's family partly overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives after the incident.

This amount of money was handed over to Mrs. Klong K Zet's family by the District Red Cross Society in the first round of support. However, the sharing will not stop there; the Duc Trong District Red Cross Society plans to continue to organize the second round of donation distribution at the end of June 2025.
