(Dan Tri) - A male student named Jiang from Zhejiang province, China, used all the money his parents gave him when he went to the city to enroll in school to satisfy his passion for traveling .
Instead of enrolling in university as planned, Jiang has used the money given to him by his parents to travel to many places in China for over a year.
When he ran out of money but still wanted to stay in a hotel, Jiang came up with the idea of putting cockroach carcasses and used condoms in the room to "find fault" with the hotel, with the aim of not having to pay for the room and even receiving compensation.

Jiang used this method to "swindle" room fees from more than 60 hotels and was even compensated by some hotels with additional money in the hope that the matter would be kept secret.
However, Jiang was recently arrested by the police, causing a stir in public opinion. Police said that the 21-year-old man had started his travel journey since September 2023. Over the past year, Jiang had stayed in hundreds of hotels.
In every hotel he visited, Jiang threatened to take the issue of poor hygiene online, forcing many hotel managers to give in to avoid trouble.
Some hotels accepted Jiang's stay for free, while others reluctantly gave him money to leave quietly.
Currently, the case is being further investigated by the police in Linhai City, Zhejiang Province. According to information from the police, Jiang has been successfully "dodging" the room fees for many months.
It was only recently, when a hotel manager surnamed Ke decided to stop Jiang's fraudulent behavior, that the young man had to face legal punishment.
Manager Ke called the police after Jiang used the hygiene issue to threaten him again and demanded that the hotel compensate him 400 yuan (1.4 million VND).
Hotel manager Ke told the media: "Jiang's complaints were very suspicious. We quickly contacted several other hotels and learned that they had similar problems with this guest. The scenario was always the same, so I decided to invite the police to work."
When police arrived, they found 23 small bags containing cockroach carcasses and used condoms that Jiang had kept in his suitcase as "props" in his scams against hotels.
Linhai City police contacted many hotels in five provinces in China to collect more evidence. Jiang confessed to having successfully carried out 63 scams against hotels and received a total compensation of more than 38,000 yuan (133 million VND).
