Railway increases tourist train to Da Lat, guests can watch free music concert

Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that this is one of the activities organized by the railway industry to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the formation and development of Da Lat city (1893-2023).

The railway offers free music performances, drinks, and photography on the Dalat tourist train.

Accordingly, to serve tourists visiting Da Lat station and taking the ancient train Da Lat - Trai Mat, in December 2023, Vietnam Railways Corporation will provide new services such as installing wifi, serving free drinks on the train; arranging free photographers to take pictures and film to serve passengers "check-in" at the station and take the train.

In particular, on the Da Lat - Trai Mat train, there are professional violin and guitar artists performing free of charge for train passengers.

Currently, on this route, the railway operates daily trains DL3/DL4. On weekends, it also operates trains DL1/DL2, DL5/DL6, DL7/DL8. In addition, if passenger demand increases, additional trains will be added during the day and week.

Specifically, departing from Da Lat station, train DL1 departs at 7:25, train DL3 departs at 9:30, train DL5 departs at 11:55, train DL7 departs at 15:00. Departing from Trai Mat, train DL2 departs at 8:25, train DL4 departs at 10:45, train DL6 departs at 13:10, train DL8 departs at 16:15. The train journey is about 30 minutes/trip.

Ticket prices range from 72,000-98,000 VND/ticket/trip. When passengers buy round-trip tickets, they get a 25% discount; passengers buying group tickets of 10 or more people get a 15% to 40% discount. In particular, train ticket price DL1/DL2 is only 50,000 VND/trip.
