Duong Tu was overshadowed in "Truong Tuong Tu 2", the film is less popular than part 1

After a long year of waiting, "Truong Tuong Tu 2" officially aired on July 8. The film is expected to continue the success of part 1 and break many records in terms of temperature (hotness) as well as rating (viewership rate).

However, right from the first episodes, "Truong Tuong Tu 2" has encountered many controversies from content to cast.

Part 2 of the film revolves around the tearful love triangle of the characters Tieu Yeu - Tuong Lieu - Do Son Canh and the power struggles in the court. However, the content of the film is said to be edited too much, far from the original, making viewers dissatisfied.

Fans turned to question Dong Hoa - the author of "Truong Tuong Tu" because he was part of the scriptwriting team but accepted to let his work be edited mercilessly.

In addition, the fact that Tan Kien Thu has more screen time and takes the attention of the female lead Duong Tu is also a hot topic of discussion. Datawin page recently officially posted an article affirming that the character Tuong Lieu (played by Tan Kien Thu) is the most favorite character in the film, bringing extremely high temperature to "Truong Tuong Tu 2".

In addition, the relationship between the cast is suspected to have cracked when they could not agree on a time to livestream to promote the film together, and there was no interaction in real life.

After 3 days of airing, "Truong Tuong Tu 2" only reached 29,000 heat points, far behind "Khanh Du Nien" and "Du Phuong Hanh", even worse than the achievement of part 1 aired last year.

Although it's only been aired on Jiangsu TV for the second day, the show's rating has shown signs of dropping from 0.35 to 0.27%, making fans worried.

"Truong Tuong Tu 2" has 23 episodes, broadcast on Tencent Video platform and Jiangsu TV station. With a limited duration, the film needs to quickly take advantage of its airtime to retain and attract audiences as well as advertisers.
