Maintain 90 civilized urban construction models in Hong Bang district

On May 24, the Hong Bang District Fatherland Front held the 17th Congress of Delegates, term 2024 - 2029.

According to the report at the Congress, in the past term, the Fatherland Front at all levels of Hong Bang district has performed well the role of Political Alliance, coordinated and unified actions among member organizations to successfully implement goals and tasks and exceeded the targets set by the Resolution of the Congress for the 2019-2024 term.

Mr. Do Trang Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City Fatherland Front, awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements in the 2019-2024 term.

In particular, 80 residential groups in 9 wards in Hong Bang district have systematically implemented 90 "self-management in residential communities" models of the Front at all levels in building civilized urban areas. Typical models are: "Bright, green, safe roads"; "Green, environmentally friendly alleys", "Light alleys", "Light routes", "Waste classification at source in households"... The models have spread to promote consensus among all classes of people in the district, proactively participating in implementing key tasks on socio -economic development.

Hong Bang is also the leading district in Hai Phong City in effectively implementing Resolution No. 05/NQ-HDND of the city on the mechanism of supporting materials (cement, pavement tiles, lighting and trees) to renovate and upgrade degraded sidewalks and alleys. The Hong Bang District Front system has done a good job of propaganda and mobilization and has gained the consensus of the people. The total fund mobilized from the people is over 9 billion VND.

In the coming term, the Fatherland Front of Hong Bang district aims to enhance the core political role of the Fatherland Front, continue to promote the tradition of great national unity, strengthen social consensus to contribute to building a civilized and modern district. Accordingly, the Fatherland Front of Hong Bang district sets out 5 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs.

The congress elected 55 people to join the new term of the Hong Bang District Fatherland Front. Ms. Le Thi Lan continued to be trusted and re-elected as Chairwoman of the Hong Bang District Fatherland Front for the 17th term, 2024-2029.
