Through propaganda work on voluntary blood donation in the locality, Mr. Hung is deeply aware of the importance and invaluable value of blood to human life.
“Every time I donate blood, I give life, it is a deeply humane act, showing the spirit of sharing and responsibility to the community. Therefore, I have proactively participated in voluntary blood donation activities, with the desire to contribute my small part to helping those in need of blood,” Mr. Hung shared.
According to Mr. Hung, the first time he donated blood, he was inevitably nervous. At the blood donation point, he was consulted by volunteers, Red Cross staff and doctors, helping him understand that donating blood according to instructions will not affect his health.
“I know that there are thousands of people around me who regularly donate blood and are completely healthy. That makes me feel more secure and ready to participate.
Up to now, although I have donated blood dozens of times, I still feel that my health is completely stable. That is why I have encouraged my wife and children to participate. Not only in concentrated blood donation campaigns, my family is always ready to support emergency blood donations at hospitals, regardless of day or night, rain or shine" - Mr. Hung shared more.
Not only did he encourage family members to donate blood, Mr. Hung also encouraged neighbors, friends, and acquaintances to actively participate in voluntary blood donation campaigns in the locality.
With his own experience and health, Mr. Hung wants to spread the message: "Donating blood is not only safe but also a noble act, bringing life to those in need of help." He and his family are always willing to share their blood to help others.
With his own and his family's experiences, speaking at the blood donor honoring ceremony, Mr. Hung called on volunteers to continue donating blood and encourage relatives and friends to donate blood to save lives. Let's share drops of blood for the lives of patients and those who are unfortunate.
“Every drop of blood given - a life remains” - as long as we uphold our sense of responsibility and contribute together, every hour and every day that passes will save more lives and reduce the pain that is weighing heavily on the shoulders of many families” - Mr. Hung shared.
