According to the plan, 5-star airline Emirates Airlines will open the Dubai (United Arab Emirates) - Bangkok (Thailand) - Da Nang (Vietnam) route from June 2, 2025 with a frequency of 4 flights/week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, including 35 business class seats and 368 economy class seats.

In preparation for the launch of the route, Emirates Airlines has just sent a working delegation to work with specialized units of Da Nang International Airport on emergency - rescue and search and rescue operations in the port's area of ​​responsibility, in order to strengthen coordination to ensure aviation safety.

At the Emirates Airlines survey, representatives of specialized units at Da Nang International Airport such as Da Nang Airport Operations Center, Da Nang Airport Operations Center and Da Nang Aviation Security Center directly participated and discussed specifically about the emergency response procedures currently applied at the airport. Specifically, such as detection, alarm activation, force coordination, to fire fighting, evacuation, rescue and handling of consequences.

Da Nang International Airport emphasizes the importance of close coordination and timely information exchange, in which the fire prevention and fighting - rescue force plays a central role but always coordinates closely with other departments and external functional units such as Da Nang city government, military forces, police, medical facilities... related departments.

The Emirates Airlines delegation also directly visited and surveyed the Emergency Coordination Center, the Operation Coordination Office, 2 fire stations, areas and specialized equipment serving fire prevention and fighting and rescue work at Da Nang International Airport.

Emirates Airlines representative said that the flight schedule on the Dubai-Bangkok-Da Nang route is optimally designed to easily bring passengers from major European cities such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, Manchester, Milan, Rome or major cities in the US to Da Nang. At the same time, it is easy to connect wealthy customers from the Middle East to the city.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang, the flight route that Emirates Airlines is about to launch will help promote the city to 150 countries and territories. Not only will it open up more opportunities to attract and serve tourists, but this flight route will also create conditions for connection, trade and business when Da Nang operates as an international financial center and free trade zone.

Da Nang International Airport said that there are currently 16 regular international flights to Da Nang including: Bangkok (Thailand), Singapore, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Taipei-Kaohsiung (Taiwan-China), Macau (China), Hong Kong (China), Siem Reap (Cambodia), Incheon - Busan - Daegu - Cheongju (Korea), Narita (Japan), Manila (Philippines), Ahmedabad (India), Yangon (Myanmar) and 8 domestic flights (Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Nha Trang, Buon Me Thuot, Hai Phong, Can Tho, Da Lat, Phu Quoc).

During the 5-day holiday of April 30 and May 1, Da Nang International Airport ensured absolute safety for 654 flights to Da Nang city, an increase of about 12% compared to normal days; including 261 international flights and 393 domestic flights. On average, Da Nang airport receives about 130 flights per day (52 international flights and 78 domestic flights).
