EVNNPC identifies digital transformation as the 'key' to growth in the 2026

The key goals over the next five years are to strengthen digital capabilities, improve grid operations, and optimize customer experience.

At the meeting to evaluate the development plan for the period 2021 - 2025 and orientation for the period 2026 - 2030, EVNNPC emphasized the strong application of digital technology in all production and business activities. According to EVNNPC, the company has achieved many positive results in the process of digitalizing the system, despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical conflicts or inflation.

Digital technology - the driving force for EVNNPC in the next 5-year development strategy.

In the recent period, EVNNPC has synchronously deployed digital solutions in engineering, business and internal management. They expanded the remote electronic meter system, deployed online electricity services throughout the process and cashless payments, and applied artificial intelligence and big data analysis to improve operational efficiency.

Thanks to that, the corporation significantly increased labor productivity, increased grid reliability and improved customer satisfaction.

EVNNPC also acknowledged a number of major challenges that need to be addressed: such as investment costs, site clearance for power projects, reducing power losses, and ensuring the progress of automation projects. To overcome these challenges, EVNNPC requires its member units to proactively propose management solutions, enhance automation and apply digital technology more deeply, while ensuring energy safety and security.

Chairwoman of EVNNPC Board of Directors, Ms. Do Nguyet Anh, affirmed: “The results achieved in the past 5 years are a clear demonstration of the spirit of solidarity and continuous efforts of all EVNNPC officers and employees. This is the solid foundation for the Corporation to confidently enter a new stage of development - more modern, more efficient and serving customers better.”

EVNNPC's General Director and Deputy General Directors also agreed to promote innovation, creativity, accelerate digital transformation, strengthen the safety of the power grid system and develop a high-quality workforce - considering this the key to breakthroughs from 2026 to 2030.

In the long term, EVNNPC aims for sustainable development with three main pillars: customer-centricity, technology application as a driving force for development, and streamlined corporate governance. With this strategy, EVNNPC aims for modern governance, comprehensive digitalization, and expansion of a reliable, flexible, and environmentally friendly electricity service model.
