FPT Retail cooperates with Vietcombank to deploy payment agent model

FPT Retail and Vietcombank have signed a cooperation agreement to deploy a payment agent model.

FPT Digital Retail Joint Stock Company (FPT Retail) and Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) have signed a cooperation agreement to deploy a payment agent model. The event marks a new step in the trend of integrating financial services into the technology retail ecosystem, aiming to optimize utilities for users.

Accordingly, from May 16, 2025, FPT Shop will integrate Vietcombank 's payment services into its nationwide store system. This new step helps provide comprehensive financial solutions to customers more easily and quickly. Specifically, with this model, customers can directly perform Vietcombank's financial services such as depositing and withdrawing cash right at FPT Shop stores, bringing convenience, simplicity, and optimizing the experience.

Representatives of FPT Digital Retail Joint Stock Company (FPT Retail) and Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

One of the outstanding advantages of this utility is the flexibility in time, customers can proactively transact according to the operating hours of FPT Shop stores, including after-hours and weekends, helping customers save time and flexibly arrange work.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Hoang Trung Kien - General Director of FPT Retail said: “The cooperation between FPT Retail and Vietcombank to deploy the payment agent model is a breakthrough in expanding financial utilities for customers nationwide, aiming to provide fast, smooth and safe services, bringing a convenient and secure experience to customers. We believe that the cooperative relationship between FPT Retail in general, FPT Shop in particular and Vietcombank will be increasingly tightened and developed for a prosperous Vietnam, contributing to the common goal of promoting technology application, promoting innovation and creativity in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 57.”
