FPT established FPT Smart Cloud Japan

On December 5,FPT Corporation announced the establishment of FPT Smart Cloud Japan Co., Ltd., headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The company was established to develop an ecosystem of products and solutions applying AI and Cloud technology to serve customers in the Japanese and Asian markets.

The establishment of a company specializing in AI and Cloud in Japan is an important step in realizing FPT's long-term strategy after the Group launched FPT AI Factory in Japan in November.

According to IDC's report, Japan's AI market is expected to reach a value of 5.9 billion USD in 2024, growing by 31.2%. This is a large space for FPT's new company to cooperate with organizations in Japan to access and apply high technology. FPT aims to develop sovereign AI and realize the common vision of making Japan an AI nation. Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Corporation, affirmed: "Artificial intelligence will change the world. We are working closely with strategic partners to develop essential cloud infrastructure for AI applications around the world, especially in Japan, following NVIDIA's global initiative. FPT AI Factory provides 3 main product groups: FPT AI Infrastructure provides GPU cloud services with top-notch supercomputing capacity to accelerate the construction and deployment of large AI models; FPT AI Studio platform provides smart tools for building, training and in-depth fine-tuning of AI models using NVIDIA NeMo; FPT AI Inference, combined with NVIDIA NIM and NVIDIA AI Blueprints, allows for the effective deployment and expansion of these models in terms of scale and number of uses.
