(Chinhphu.vn) - According to information from the Department of People with Meritorious Services (Ministry of Home Affairs), up to now, nearly 1.1 million profiles of people with meritorious services who are receiving monthly preferential allowances have been updated in the Database System of People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution.

Nearly 1.1 million records of people with meritorious services have been updated to the Database System of People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution.

Pursuant to Decision No. 1164/QD-LDBXH dated October 15, 2021 of the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Department of People with Meritorious Services (now under the Ministry of Home Affairs ) has presided over the construction of the Database System of People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution, operating at https://csdl-nguoicocong.molisa.gov.vn.

This is the only database of people with revolutionary contributions that is centrally and uniformly built nationwide, ensuring connection with the national database on population and software for managing people with revolutionary contributions in localities.

The goal of this database is to directly serve the management, direction, statistics, reporting and implementation of a number of online public services at the local level directly performed by commune-level, department-level and department-level officials.

During the implementation process, with the attention and close coordination of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of the provinces and centrally-run cities, the Department of People with Merits has coordinated with the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06), the Ministry of Public Security to review, clean, and enter basic data on all subjects with merit who are receiving monthly preferential allowances (updating nearly 1.1 million subjects, with more than 10 basic information fields/01 subject); completed the updating of data on martyrs and martyrs' graves that have been gathered.

In addition, the database system of people with meritorious services to the revolution has been scanned for safety, network security by the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Information and Communications and successfully connected to the public service software to perform online administrative procedures "Registering death certificates, deleting permanent residence registration, enjoying death benefits (death benefits and funeral benefits)/supporting funeral expenses/enjoying funeral expenses" when a person with meritorious services passes away.

Implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation and to have a basis for full, synchronous and comprehensive operation of the database of people with meritorious services to the revolution and deploy online public services, the Department of People with Meritorious Services requests the Department of Home Affairs of provinces and centrally-run cities to direct, guide and assign specialized departments to focus on handling administrative procedures for connecting funeral expenses and death benefits when people with meritorious services pass away on the database system of people with meritorious services to the revolution according to Decree No. 63/2024/ND-CP dated June 10, 2024 of the Government.

Continue to review and update information and data on people with meritorious services managed by localities into the database system of people with meritorious services to the revolution, paying attention to information such as: Health insurance; preferential education subsidies; health rehabilitation care; assistive devices, orthopedic devices, necessary rehabilitation equipment and devices, auxiliary items and other items...

At the same time, assign specialized focal points to monitor, maintain and effectively exploit the system locally.

According to the Department of People with Meritorious Services, updating and operating the Database System of People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution not only contributes to improving the efficiency of serving the people, but is also a practical expression of the spirit of "remembering the source of water when drinking", affirming responsibility and deep gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolutionary cause of the nation.
