Nearly 19,000 athletes registered to participate in the 2025 "That's My Vietnam" Run

VHO - The Organizing Committee of the "My Vietnam 2025" Race said that as of 0:10 on August 17, nearly 19,000 professional and amateur athletes, domestic and international, had registered to participate.

This number is expected to exceed 20,000 on August 22, thereby setting a Vietnamese record for the largest number of people wearing red flag with yellow star shirts in a marathon ever.

The race is an opportunity for runners to connect the past and present.

Each participating athlete will be granted a Record Setting Certificate, making the event not just a regular race but also a milestone rich in historical, cultural and national significance.

This year's race was held on August 24 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Vinhomes Global Gate, Hanoi , with 4 distances: 42 km, 21 km, 9.2 km and 2.9 km. This is one of the events in the series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.

In addition, the My Vietnam 2025 Run aims to widely promote domestically and internationally the Vietnam Exhibition Center built in Hanoi, one of the 10 largest exhibition centers in the world and the largest in Southeast Asia.

At the same time, it introduces a land with a rich cultural and historical tradition, famous for its 9-spiral citadel that is over 2,000 years old. Coming to Co Loa citadel means coming back to the legendary stories of the Crossbow, An Duong Vuong, My Chau, Trong Thuy. Not only that, this place also leaves an impression on visitors with its unique architectural works, which have been preserved and conserved to this day.

Notably, medical and safety work was carefully prepared with 32 doctors, nurses, 5 ambulances, and mobile medical support volunteers.

Along the route, there are many fixed medical stations, fully equipped with necessary tools such as cold spray, pain relief gel, bandages and emergency stretchers. The medical station at the finish line is equipped with a canopy, beds and fans to promptly serve athletes in trouble.

The tournament is an opportunity to arouse national pride.

In addition, the award also promotes green - clean - beautiful factors, limits plastic waste and integrates tree planting activities, aiming at the message "Fierce Vietnamese spirit - For a green future".
