Nearly 19,000 athletes registered to participate in the "That's My Vietnam" Run 2025

VHO - The organizing committee of the "My Vietnam 2025" race said that as of 0:10 on August 17, nearly 19,000 professional and amateur athletes, both domestic and international, had registered to participate.

This number is expected to exceed 20,000 on August 22, thereby setting a Vietnamese record for the largest number of people wearing red flags with yellow stars in a marathon ever.

The race is an opportunity for runners to connect the past and present.

Each participating athlete will be awarded a Record Certificate, making the event not just a regular race but also a milestone rich in historical, cultural and national significance.

This year's race was held on August 24 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Vinhomes Global Gate, Hanoi , with 4 distances: 42 km, 21 km, 9.2 km and 2.9 km. This is one of the events in the series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.

In addition, the My Vietnam 2025 Run aims to widely promote domestically and internationally the Vietnam Exhibition Center built in Hanoi Capital, one of the 10 largest exhibition centers in the world and the largest in Southeast Asia.

The tournament is one of the events in a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.

At the same time, it introduces a land with a rich cultural and historical tradition, famous for its 9-spiral citadel that is over 2,000 years old. Coming to Co Loa citadel means coming to the legendary stories of the Crossbow, An Duong Vuong, My Chau, Trong Thuy. Not only that, this place also leaves an impression on visitors with its unique architectural works, preserved and conserved to this day.

Notably, medical and safety work was carefully prepared with 32 doctors, nurses, 5 ambulances, and mobile medical support volunteers.

Along the route, there are many fixed medical stations, fully equipped with necessary tools such as cold spray, pain relief gel, bandages and stretchers. The medical station at the finish line is equipped with a canopy, beds and fans to promptly serve athletes in trouble.

The tournament is an opportunity to arouse national pride.

In addition, the award also promotes green - clean - beautiful factors, limits plastic waste and integrates tree planting activities, aiming at the message "Fierce Vietnamese spirit - For a green future".

The event was organized by Vinhomes Joint Stock Company, Zaha Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnam Athletics Federation, UNDP and relevant agencies with the theme "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit"

My Vietnam 2025 is not only a national sporting event but also a journey to connect history, spread national pride and strongly inspire a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
