Nearly 2.57 billion VND to implement the project "Promoting sustainable energy transition in Vietnam"

The project aims to support awareness raising and capacity building in promoting local GHG emission reduction and Net-zero emissions targets through mobilizing and promoting local efforts, commitments and actions, private sector, development organizations; and supporting the process of building GHG emission reduction roadmaps and sustainable low-carbon solutions of relevant stakeholders.

With a total implementation capital of 103,633 USD, equivalent to nearly 2.57 billion VND, the project will be implemented from May 7, 2025 to June 30, 2026. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to take the lead and coordinate with the sponsor and relevant local agencies to organize the project implementation in accordance with the law, and at the same time use the funding in accordance with the project's objectives.
