Nearly 7,000 children participate in "Summer Festival - Play to learn" at Phu My Hung Urban Area

On June 1, Phu My Hung Development Corporation and Konnit Group Corporation co-organized the 14th “Phu My Hung for Children” Festival to celebrate International Children’s Day (June 1) and International Play Day (June 11). The festival took place at the Crescent Lake Area, Phu My Hung, District 7, attracting nearly 7,000 children.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tho, Deputy General Director of Phu My Hung Corporation delivered the opening speech of the festival.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tho, Deputy General Director of Phu My Hung Corporation, said that this year's "Phu My Hung towards children" festival has the theme "Summer Festival - Play to learn", providing children with an experiential space with a variety of games from physical activities, sports to creativity, art and science to help them improve their skills through fun play - learning useful things.

The festival has more than 10,000 gifts to encourage and motivate children to participate in games and learn many useful skills.

Although the festival officially opened at 8:30, the game booths attracted a lot of children to learn early. Taking her children to the festival, Ms. Pham Anh Mai (living in Tan Thuan Dong ward, District 7) said that the festival is an occasion that her children look forward to. Ms. Anh Mai shared: "Every year, Phu My Hung Company organizes the festival to kick off a fun summer for the children, with completely free activities, which are really meaningful for the children."

Arriving early at the festival, experiencing activities such as modeling with clay, sifting sand to find gems, coloring to open up knowledge, Nguyen Ngoc Thanh Tam (student of Nguyen Thi Thap Secondary School) expressed, “I just had a closing ceremony at school to start the summer vacation. I feel very happy to experience the activities at the festival today. I hope this will be a lucky start to a brilliant summer for me,” Thanh Tam said.

The festival not only attracted the participation of children in Phu My Hung Urban Area but also attracted many children from neighboring districts to come and play. Brought to the festival by his parents, Pham Minh Tai (living in Nha Be district) was very excited and participated in almost all the games at the festival. Mr. Pham Minh Tam (Tai's father) said that there were not many activities in Nha Be, so when he heard that Phu My Hung Company was organizing the festival, he brought his son to give him interesting experiences for the summer.

This year's festival space is designed in each area, an experiential journey, bringing a sense of conquest and discovery to children through games.

Science and Art Zone with games of discovery and experience such as archaeology, decoding specimens, searching for clues, balancing rocks, testing mineral skills, competing with robots, space travel, creating sand paintings...

Folk game area with games imbued with cultural identity such as tug of war, sack race, hopscotch, flag capture, bean picking, blindfolded can smashing...

The balance bike racing area is a place to organize balance bike races for preschool children...

Within the framework of the festival, there are also special performances.

After experiencing the games, the children also received attractive gifts such as school supplies, backpacks, cakes, candies, ice cream, teddy bears, toys, etc. from the sponsors.
