Closing the competition program of the tournament in Quang Nam, disabled athletes of Ho Chi Minh City ranked number 1 in 3 sports including pickleball, weightlifting and table tennis.
In pickleball, the HCMC disabled sports delegation won 10 gold medals, 9 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals, maintaining the number 1 position. In weightlifting, the HCMC disabled weightlifters ranked first with a total of 11 gold medals, 11 silver medals, and 11 bronze medals. At this tournament, the best disabled weightlifters in HCMC (including Le Van Cong) all competed. In table tennis, the HCMC disabled sports athletes won 7 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 14 bronze medals, maintaining the top position.

The remaining sport that was competed in was badminton, where the Hanoi disabled sports delegation came in first with 11 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 11 bronze medals. The disabled sports athletes of Ho Chi Minh City competed hard and won 7 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 8 bronze medals, so they came in second place.
This year's tournament attracted 250 athletes from 14 units nationwide competing in events according to the prescribed disability categories.
From the results of the tournament, Vietnam's disabled sports will have professional preparations to build a team to participate in the 2025 ASEAN Para Games in Thailand early next year. According to coach Le Quang Thai of the Vietnam disabled weightlifting team, the coaching staff has seen a number of new faces achieving competition results and have the prospect of winning medals at the 2025 ASEAN Para Games.
