Nearly 90 officers and employees of Vinmec Nha Trang General Hospital voluntarily donated blood

On May 30, Vinmec Nha Trang General Hospital in collaboration with Khanh Hoa Province Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center organized a voluntary blood donation festival with the theme: "Blood - a gift of life". Nearly 90 medical staff and employees of the hospital participated in the festival. After screening and health check-ups, 85 people were eligible to donate blood; 85 units of blood were collected.

For over 5 years, Vinmec Nha Trang General Hospital has regularly coordinated with the Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee to organize general voluntary blood donation programs of the province at the hospital. This is the first year that the hospital has organized a voluntary blood donation program specifically for the hospital's medical staff and employees.

It is expected that each year, in addition to participating in the province's general activities, Vinmec Nha Trang General Hospital will organize a voluntary blood donation campaign exclusively for hospital staff, medical staff, and workers, with an expected blood donation volume of 100 units/year.

Leaders of the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center presented a plaque of gratitude to Vinmec Nha Trang General Hospital.

Since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center has coordinated with other units to organize 50 voluntary blood donation campaigns with a total of 10,000 units of donated blood collected.
