Meet the authors of the book series "Rich and Beautiful Vietnamese"

On September 21, at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street, Tre Publishing House organized a program to introduce the book series Beautiful Vietnamese and interact with the authors. This is the first time the entire book series has been introduced to readers, and also the first time with the participation of all 5 authors.

5 authors present in the book series Rich and Beautiful Vietnamese , including: Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Dan (with 4 books: The Injustice, That's It ; From Wrong Sentences to Good Sentences ; Vietnamese Philosophy , Colorful Arguments ), Dr. Tran Thi Ngoc Lang ( Southern Vietnamese ), Associate Professor, Dr. Trinh Sam ( In Search of the Identity of Vietnamese ), journalist Duong Thanh Truyen ( Love Songs of Our Country's Language) and journalist Le Minh Quoc ( Tricky and Elegant Vietnamese ).

The book series "Beautiful Vietnamese Language" was produced by Tre Publishing House in the early 2000s with the participation of leading professors in linguistics from North to South, such as the late Professor Hoang Tue, Professor Nguyen Duc Dan, Associate Professor - Doctor Trinh Sam, researcher Tran Huyen An (Tran Si Hue), Doctor Tran Thi Ngoc Lang... and continued by later writers and journalists such as Duong Thanh Truyen and Le Minh Quoc.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam, Deputy Director - Editor-in-Chief of Tre Publishing House, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Dan is the one who laid the foundation for the rich and beautiful Vietnamese bookshelf. And in the past 25 years, since the first book of Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Dan, the next generations of Tre Publishing House have continued to invest in this book series, and have published more than 10 publications to date.

“In the future, we hope that the authors here will continue to support us with new works. We also hope that young authors, researchers or people who love Vietnamese in general, who want to popularize their works and share them with readers, will come to us,” said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam.

In fact, the book series Rich and Beautiful Vietnamese published by Tre Publishing House has had nearly 20 books published. Some of the books published in the early days have not been reprinted yet, such as: A Golden Straw (2 volumes, Dao Than), To Write Vietnamese Well and To Write Correct Vietnamese (Nguyen Khanh Nong), Vietnamese from Life and How Do Beautiful People Eat and Speak? (Pham Van Tinh)...

This shows the appeal and usefulness of the book series Rich Vietnamese Language when it has brought many publications with many different approaches. Thanks to that, the book series contributes to explaining many interesting things about the rich Vietnamese language in the regions of the Fatherland.

All 11 publications printed and reprinted later, were invested by Tre Publishing House with modern design, neat book size, easy-to-read soft cover, a set of tool books suitable for many readers. The book series uses familiar examples from the ancient Vietnamese language treasure and modern language today from many sources: folk songs, proverbs, newspapers, literary works, song lyrics, everyday language, and even internet language. Regional dialects are also an important content in this book series.

Over the years, the book series Rich and Beautiful Vietnamese has been widely received by readers, most of the titles have been reprinted, including the 9th edition. The book series is not only used for reference in schools, for creative workers, but also useful for those working in communications and content creation in the present era.
