On the evening of December 14th, My Tien returned to the swimming pool after the controversy of the previous day. She and her teammates competed in the women's 4x200m freestyle relay. Earlier, on the evening of December 13th, she broke down in tears after speaking with Mr. Dinh Viet Hung, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Aquatic Sports Association, right on the podium after receiving her silver medal in the women's 400m individual medley. |

After Anh Vien's retirement, My Tien became the most successful female swimmer in Vietnam. Including the silver medal on December 13th, My Tien has won a total of 4 silver medals since the 2022 SEA Games in Hanoi . The silver medal is the highest achievement for Vietnamese women's swimming in the post-Anh Vien era. |
