Generali Vietnam donates nearly VND900 million to support families affected by Typhoon Yagi | Business | Finance

The total amount of money donated is nearly 900 million VND to support people in rebuilding their lives.

The gifts, including cash and necessities, were delivered directly to households affected by natural disasters.

This funding comes from Generali Vietnam's community support fund; employee donations; customer interaction activities and joint activities of the General Agency Office system.

Generali Vietnam representative presented a total donation of 580 million VND to the Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) of Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province. This amount of money was used by the local government to carry out activities to rebuild people's lives.

Also at the ceremony, Generali Vietnam and the District Fatherland Front Committee presented gifts directly to 50 households in Tong Sanh commune, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai that suffered losses after natural disasters, with each gift including 3 million VND in cash and necessities.

Continuing the series of activities towards people affected by the storm, Generali Vietnam also plans to award 20 scholarships worth 100 million VND to disadvantaged students in Yen Bai, Lao Cai... studying at the Diplomatic Academy.

The company also transferred nearly 200 million VND from donations from staff to hand to affected families in the northern provinces.

Mr. Luc Tai Ba, Deputy General Director of Generali Vietnam's National Sales, shared: "This is the period when people in the northern provinces are making efforts to rebuild their lives after the storm, and Generali Vietnam wants to share with our compatriots with timely and practical support. Thanks to the solidarity and unity of the whole community along with the prompt intervention of local authorities, we hope that people will soon return to their daily lives after the damage and loss."

Generali's offices and financial advisory teams in all Northern localities are also actively collecting information about customers who have participated in insurance with the company and are affected by the storm. As soon as the information is available, Generali's professional departments will quickly contact and guide the customer's family to complete the procedures to submit to the Insurance Claims Department.
