Generali Vietnam donates nearly 900 million VND to support families affected by Typhoon Yagi | Business | Finance

The total amount donated was nearly 900 million VND to support the people in rebuilding their lives.

The gifts, including cash and essential supplies, were handed directly to the households affected by the natural disaster.

This funding comes from Generali Vietnam's community support fund; employee donations; customer interaction activities; and collaborative efforts from the General Agency Office network.

Representatives from Generali Vietnam presented a total donation of 580 million VND to the Fatherland Front Committee of Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province. This money will be used by the local government to implement activities to rebuild the lives of the people.

Also at the ceremony, Generali Vietnam, together with the Fatherland Front Committee of Bat Xat district, presented gifts directly to 50 households in Tong Sanh commune, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province, who suffered losses after the natural disaster. Each gift included 3 million VND in cash and essential supplies.

Continuing its series of activities aimed at supporting people affected by the storm, Generali Vietnam also plans to award 20 scholarships worth 100 million VND to disadvantaged students in Yen Bai , Lao Cai, and other provinces who are studying at the Diplomatic Academy.

The company also transferred nearly 200 million VND, taken from the donations of its employees, to directly hand over to the affected families in the northern provinces.

Mr. Luc Tai Ba, Deputy General Director of Sales at Generali Vietnam, shared: "This is a period when people in the northern provinces and cities are striving to rebuild their lives after the storm, and Generali Vietnam wishes to share with them with timely and practical support. Thanks to the collective efforts and solidarity of the entire community, along with the swift action of local authorities, we hope that people will soon return to their normal lives after the damage and losses."

Generali's offices and financial advisory teams throughout the northern provinces are also actively gathering information about customers who have insurance policies with the company and are affected by the storm. As soon as information is received, Generali's operational departments will quickly contact and guide the affected families in completing the necessary procedures to submit to the Insurance Claims Department.
