Huge prize money at the first VTV9 Open Pickleball Tournament – ​​2025

The Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VTV9), in collaboration with Vietnam Cable Television Corporation (VTVcab), the Ho Chi Minh City Pickleball Federation, and other partners, is organizing the first VTV9 Open Pickleball Tournament in 2025.

From December 19th to 21st, the Banger tennis courts (90 Song Hành Street, Binh Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) will witness high-speed and dramatic rallies from nearly 700 players from across the country, including top professional athletes, businesses, artists, KOLs, journalists, and a large number of pickleball enthusiasts.

This year's tournament includes 9 doubles events (each team has 2 players), including: Men's Doubles (Journalists/Artists/KOLs), Mixed Doubles (Journalists/Artists/KOLs), Men's Doubles (Corporate), Men's Doubles (Pro), Mixed Doubles (Pro), Mixed Doubles (7.5), Mixed Doubles (5.5), Men's Doubles (5.0), and Mixed Doubles (5.0).

To ensure fair competition and create a level playing field for both beginners and experienced players, the tournaments will be ranked based on the Sport Connect ranking system.

Ly Hoang Nam will compete in the first VTV9 Open Pickleball Tournament - 2025.

This time, top Vietnamese professional pickleball players such as Ly Hoang Nam, Trinh Linh Giang, Do Minh Quan, Truong Vinh Hien, Van Phuong, Vu Thanh Duong (Duong Cao)... will have the opportunity to compete against foreign players like Li Zefeng, Nathan Willis, and Li Cian....

The group of artists and KLOs in attendance included many famous names: actor Binh Minh, former football star Hong Son, musician Huy Tuan, model Minh Hang, runner-up Thanh Ngan, runner-up Ngoc Hang, supermodel Thu Hang, singer Pha Le, actor Minh Luan, and many others.
