Silver prices are entering a rare bull run, rising nearly 115% year-to-date, outperforming gold. Limited supply and its growing role in both industry and as a store of value provide long-term support for the market.
Demand for silver from solar energy, electric vehicles, data centers, and AI continues to expand, with prospects remaining strong until at least 2030. Some forecasts suggest that silver prices could approach triple digits in 2026, although short-term volatility remains.
The gold-silver ratio has fallen to around 68, its lowest level since 2021, indicating that silver still has significant room to rise relative to gold. Compared to its historical average of around 66 and previous strong bull cycles that fell below 40, silver is currently still considered to be in a relatively low price range.
