Silver price today recorded, domestic and world silver continued to decrease for the second consecutive session.
Domestic market
Silver price today at Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group, silver price turned down, listed at 1,476,000 VND/tael (buy) and 1,522,000 VND/tael (sell) in Hanoi .
In addition, according to a survey at other trading locations in Hanoi, domestic silver prices decreased in both buying and selling directions, currently listed at VND 1,216,000/tael (buy) and VND 1,249,000/tael (sell).
In Ho Chi Minh City, silver prices also decreased, currently at 1,218,000 VND/tael (buy) and 1,255,000 VND/tael (sell).
World silver prices reversed and decreased in both buying and selling directions, currently at 1,014,000 VND/ounce (buy) and 1,019,000 VND/ounce (sell).
World market
On the world market, silver price is listed at 39.13 USD/ounce.
Silver prices have been struggling as global trade sentiment has improved, boosting risk appetite and reducing demand for traditional safe-haven assets like precious metals, according to macro and market analyst Vishal Chaturvedi.
Despite this tug-of-war, Vishal Chaturvedi remains bullish on silver prices.
Silver prices remain near 14-year highs, hovering around levels last seen in September 2011, underscoring the strength of the current uptrend. The precious metal has gained nearly 2.36% this week, supported by continued weakness in the US dollar earlier.
