Latest Arabica and Robusta prices on November 4, 2025
World coffee prices rose sharply today due to lower-than-normal rainfall in Brazil and the threat from a storm to Vietnam's robusta crops.
Typhoon Kalmaegi is forecast to make landfall in Vietnam on Thursday or Friday, potentially causing damage to key coffee growing areas. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , the export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in October reached nearly 6 billion USD, bringing the total value in 10 months to 58.13 billion USD, up nearly 13% over the same period last year.
Coffee continued to be a bright spot, bringing in 7.41 billion USD, up nearly 62%, thanks to an average export price of 5,653 USD/ton – the highest level in many years. The main reason was a decrease in supply in major producing countries, while demand increased sharply in Europe, especially in Germany, Italy and Spain.
On the international market, supply continues to be under pressure. In Brazil, Minas Gerais state – the largest arabica growing region – received just 33.4 mm of rain in the last week of October, well below average. At the same time, coffee inventories on ICE fell sharply: arabica fell to 431,481 bags, the lowest in 1.75 years, while robusta fell to 6,053 lots – the lowest in 3.5 months.
