In Long Chu commune, Deputy Head of the Economic Department of Long Chu commune, Ho Thanh Phong, said that Long Chu is a purely agricultural commune, located in the border area of Tay Ninh province, with a total natural area of about 9,200 hectares. Most of the people live on agriculture, of which rice production accounts for the largest proportion.
Currently, the commune has 3 agricultural cooperatives, 2 crop farms and 7 livestock farms applying science and technology, VietGAP, VietGAHP processes and biotechnology, contributing to good control of diseases on crops and livestock.
The locality is implementing a project to link the high-quality rice production chain in the 2023-2026 period, implemented by Long Vinh Agricultural Service Cooperative with a total support fund of 600 million VND.
In the period of 2026-2030, the People's Committee of the commune registered the capital demand to implement the high-quality rice production chain linkage project of 1.39 billion VND, an area of 120 hectares with 75 participating households.
"When participating in the linkage chains, people enjoy many support policies from the State, such as support for science and technology, production materials, helping people improve farming efficiency and have more stable profits," said Deputy Head of the Economic Department of Long Chu Commune, Ho Thanh Phong.

In Hao Duoc commune, Chairman of the People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Dai said that the whole commune currently has 4 registered cooperatives, of which 1 cooperative has ceased operations; in addition, there are 2 agricultural cooperatives with production contracts with enterprises.
Recently, the Commune People's Committee has created favorable conditions for cooperatives to cooperate with enterprises. Thanks to that, people participating in the cooperative are supported according to the province's policy, about 3.8 million VND per hectare, and do not have to worry about input material costs and product output. This model has initially brought about efficiency and has been widely supported by farmers. The commune is planning to establish a new cooperative following the same model.
In the period of 2026-2030, the People's Committee of the commune plans to support the development of a project plan to link the value chain of high-quality rice production for about 500 hectares. In particular, in the period of 2026-2028, it is proposed to support 1.56 billion VND to build a project to link the value chain of high-quality sticky rice production.
“The recently issued Resolution of the Hao Duoc Commune Party Congress identifies the key goal of building Hao Duoc into a clean agricultural commune by 2030, applying high technology, associated with developing the local agricultural brand. In particular, the chain linking from production to consumption is considered the key solution to realize this goal,” emphasized Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hao Duoc Commune Nguyen Thanh Dai.
Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Tay Ninh province, Truong Tan Dat, said that Tay Ninh currently has many production - consumption chains of agricultural products operating in the fields of cultivation, animal husbandry and aquaculture. Specifically, in cultivation there are production chains of rice, fruit trees and corn; in animal husbandry there is a cattle breeding chain; and in aquaculture there is a freshwater aquaculture chain. These chains have been operating effectively in recent times, contributing to stable product consumption for farmers.
However, there are still times when the chain breaks, mainly due to fluctuations in domestic and foreign markets, and the impact of the world economic and political situation. Therefore, the agricultural sector and localities are focusing on consolidating and maintaining the sustainability of the chain, focusing on raising awareness of contract compliance among farmers and businesses to ensure long-term rights and development.

“The objective of the inspection and survey is to grasp the difficulties and obstacles of localities, cooperatives, and linkage groups in the process of implementing support policies, linking production and consumption of agricultural products and building a collective economy. On that basis, the Department will synthesize, report and advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council to promulgate and adjust agricultural production support policies for the period 2025-2030, in accordance with local realities,” Mr. Truong Tan Dat, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, emphasized.
